Twilight star Ashley Greene made headlines this summer when she posted a nude Instagram photo in July, while on honeymoon with her husband Paul Khoury.

Two months removed from the nude photo, Greene, 31, has discussed the photo in a new interview with US Weekly.

'I’m a little bit more reserved when it comes to that,' Greene said. 'So it’s, like, a little bit wild and freeing, and I think, you know, we were just coming off of getting married, so it was fun.'

The actress, who showed up to support Strong by Zumba’s event at Milk Gallery in New York on Tuesday, added that her husband isn't exactly a nudist, but, 'he isn't afraid of being nude.'

The Apparition star married Khoury, 30, an Australian TV personality, in the beginning of July near San Jose, California, with celebrity guests in attendance such as Josh Duhamel, Eiza Gonzalez and Aaron Paul.

'I think the most special thing about the wedding was the act that not only Paul and I, but everyone came to just feel the love,' the actress said.

She added that some of the most 'special moments' was her, 'dad’s face the first time he saw me and my husband’s face the first time he saw me.' 

The actress went on to say that, while two months have passed since their honeymoon, they're still in the 'honeymoon phase' of their relationship.

'We were crazy about each other before but really committed to being, like, full on in a partnership,” the Rogue star added.

She also added that she and Khoury plan to go “beyond and above to make sure we really make this first year of marriage great, because there are a lot of transitions that you go through. 

'So for me, it’s just been incredible,' Greene concluded. 'It’s been better than it has ever been.'

Greene, best known for playing Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga, recently starred in Accident Man with Scott Adkins and Ray Stevenson, and she has three more films coming out soon. 

None of these upcoming films have release dates yet, such as Antiquities with Mary Steenburgen, the animated Max & Me, or Snowblind with Karl Urban.
