NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) — A 25-year-old man convicted of sexually abusing a young girl will spend 120 days in jail.
The Canyon County Prosecutor's Office says in October of last year, Quinn E. Harrison began having an explicit relationship with a girl who had just finished the eight grade. The messages became sexually explicit in nature despite Harrison knowing the girl's age, prosecutors say.
The two had also kissed on several occasions.
Prosecutors say they had asked for an imposed prison sentence, however, the judge, sentenced him to 120 days in jail and five years probation. Harrison was also ordered to pay a $5,000 civil penalty, along with $1,000 in fines and court costs. He'll also have to register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victim or her family, or any unsupervised contact with minor females for a period of five years.
