The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 part 1 brings a positive end to Cisco's arc but seemingly hides the reason why Kaz asks Lorna to not take Cisco's name.

WARNING! This article contains SPOILERS for The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, part 1!
Unlike season 1, The Lincoln Lawyer brings a well-rounded closure to Cisco's arc but still leaves the details behind his last name a mystery and also does not reveal why Lorna is asked not to take it after their marriage. In The Lincoln Lawyer season 1, Cisco first appears when Haller defends "Hard-Case" Casey on his drugs and firearms charges to help Cisco pay his debt to the Road Saints. While Cisco does not accept Haller's help and tells him he can pay his own debts, Haller continues defending Casey. Towards the end of The Lincoln Lawyer season 1, Cisco seemingly strikes a deal with the Road Saints' leader, Teddy, and then rides away on his bike.
With what follows in The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, Cisco's storyline primarily revolves around his relationship with Lorna. Together, they face a fair share of challenges before their marriage. Their relationship goes through several ebbs and flows, high and lows because they keep some elements of their past a secret from one another. Towards The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 part 1's ending, they resolve these issues. However, one aspect of their relationship remains a mystery: What is Cisco's full name, and why Kaz warns Lorna to avoid taking his name?
Cisco's Full Name Is Dennis "Cisco" Wojciechowski

Although The Lincoln Lawyer rarely discloses the details of Cisco's full name, the original Harry Bosch novels confirm that his full name is Dennis "Cisco" Wojciechowski. The Lincoln Lawyer portrays him as Mickey’s investigator, and in season 2, he resumes working for the Road Saints but does not tell about it to Lorna. As The Lincoln Lawyer's season 2 part 1 progresses, Cisco also investigates Kaz, another Road Saint who Teddy believes is an informant. Midway through the season, when Lorna discovers that Cisco still has ties with the Road Saints and confronts him, he comes clean about how he is close friends with Kaz.
He also tells her about his history with Kaz and how Kaz saved him from getting arrested. Lorna understands how he feels indebted to Kaz and allows him to sort out his problems with Teddy and the Road Saints. Cisco's confession prompts Lorna to open up about her experiences at Law School, and by the time The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 part 1 ends, they go back to trusting one another. However, it still seems strange that Kaz asks Lorna to abstain from taking Cisco's name.
Kaz Tells Lorna Not To Take His Name Because Of Its Difficult Pronunciation, But There May Be Another Reason

Kaz claims that Lorna should avoid taking Cisco's name because it is difficult to pronounce, which does make sense. However, there could be a deeper reason why Kaz warns Lorna. As The Lincoln Lawyer establishes in the first two seasons, Cisco is a personal investigator and has previously landed in some serious troubles and dealings with dangerous clubs like the Road Saints.
Although he wishes to cut all links with the club for good, The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 part 1 shows that he still has unfinished business. He handles things fairly well in season 2 part 1, but he has not wholly evaded all the problems he could face because of Teddy. This suggests that Kaz asks Lorna to avoid taking his name in The Lincoln Lawyer because he wants to protect her from the potential harm that could come her way if the wrong people learn about her relationship with Cisco.
