ORIGIN
E.B. Wright is an American pop singer, songwriter, and television personality. She was born Erin Bria Wright on July 16, 1991, in Compton, California. Her late father, Eric “Eazy-E” Wright, was a rapper and co-founder of the hip hop group N.W.A. Her mother, Tracy Jernagin, is a former music manager. She has 8 siblings including musicians Lil Eazy-E and Baby Eazy-E. Wright lost her father when she was 4. She was raised by her mom. She took acting classes at the University of California, Los Angeles.

CAREER
Wright grew up listening to recording artists like Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears. She’s a pop/rock singer who credits her mom for her musical talent. Wright launched her first music project ‘We Want E.B.’ at the age of 19. Her debut single “What I Wanna Do” was released in December 2012. Her other singles include “Girl Crush” and “Dear Daddy”.

Wright made her television debut on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 in 2007. She was featured on other MTV programs such as Rants and Raves, The Monday Dish, and the reality series My Super Sweet 16 Presents: Exiled. Wright was very vocal about her father’s portrayal in the biopic Straight Outta Compton (2015). The film was directed by F. Gary Gray. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Wright and her family are currently working on the documentary, A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies. The film will cover the life of Eazy-E and fill any void left by Straight Outta Compton.
